Swipe for a root 😏. Recent repair on a property sewer in Torquay. Pesky tree root grew under the PVC, causing the PVC fitting to crack and allow roots to enter the pipes which resulted in a blockage. Addition of an Overflow relief gully to stop any sewerage over flowing inside the house, and a garden tap to keep the water level present in gully and sewer gases in the sewer. Today we did a repair on a sewer riser just inside the front boundary of a property in Highton, It looks like the ground has moved which caused a small crack in the junction, just enough room for some tree roots to find their way into the pipes and cause the customer havoc.
